Hydro-Enforcement
Hydro-flattening of the digital elevation model (DEM) removes unnatural surface artifacts across hydrographic features, creating a more accurate terrain representation. We collect 3D breaklines representing hydrographic features across the lidar dataset using specialized workflows allowing us to accurately interpret the water’s edge and ensuring that all breaklines are z-enabled for the creation of hydro-flattened DEMs.
Classification and Validation
Lidar classification is our specialty. We can provide initial classification from raw, adjusted data, or perform validation and QC of already classified data. Our semi-automated processing techniques combined with our rigorous QC procedures will ensure we meet or exceed your specifications. We have experience with small or large-scale mapping projects and can meet ASPRS and USGS classification standards, as well as any specialized classifications that may be required.

Raster Derivatives
The true power of lidar data is revealed with the creation of raster derivatives. Imagery products created from point cloud data can provide a wealth of information and also provides a visual context which allows you to really “see” your data. We can provide DEM, DSM, and Intensity rasters, as well as Maximum Surface Height Rasters (MSHRs), density rasters, difference rasters, and more.
